Milestone interactive and game4u cheating online shoppers

I paid for a ps3 game from game4u.com , a milestone interactive concern on 13th of this month. The site showed my payment details on my account page.after about 4 days i wrote to them asking about shipping details on their email ids listed at the site. there was no reply. i decided to try their facebook page to get to them. on their facebook page a message left on 18th dec was there "Due to the severe Christmas rush all pending orders will be delayed". There also they couldnt be contacted. emails to milestone interactive also didnt get replies. later found several friends at facebook who had same problem with game4u. after talking to them my situation seemed better, but it swept away my last bit of hope. some who had paid several months back have not yet recieved shipment. no one recieved any communication regarding the delay nor did anyone get replies to their mails.phone calls were not answered. all were severly hurt by the total shutting off of all communications by the game4u site and milestone interactive rather than losing money.
The game4u site even now doesnt show the message "Due to the severe Christmas rush all pending orders will be delayed" on any of their pages or talk about any delay. They are still selling unshippable items to clueless customers.

to game4u - we all understand difficulties, and are more that willing to cooperate , but cant stand the arrogance you people have shown so far.

get vibration with generic gamepad on windows 7/ vista / xp 32bit and 64bit(x64)

i recently purchased a 12 button gamepad with joysticks and force feedback for 280 rs. The company name on the package was given as catek/AT-CHEETAH.

later when i searched the net with the hardware id i found quite number of devices share the same id HID\VID_0079&PID_0006&REV_0107. everest utily showed manaufacturer name of my gamepad as Dragonrise. companies like foxconn, topway, enter, tesun etc also seems to have products with same id. initially i got drivers from topway site for force feedback whick worked only in xp 32 bit , no vibration in windows 7 / vista or xp x64.

After searching net for quite a long time and downloading and trying every driver out there , i almost lost hope. Then some search a google directed me tho this site . Downloaded the driver package from the site and to my astonishment got vibration working in xp 64bit. and later found out it also worked in windows 7 64bit.

To test the vibration function you can use forcetest utility which can be got by google search or can be downloaded here.

install windows xp on dell 435MT(435 M/T) 32bit or x64

Tried installing both windows xp 32 bit and x64 versions on dell studio xps 435 midtower . both installation were without issues but had to upgrade some drivers for better results. The drivers that needed updating and the links are given below

for 32bit xp
1)ethernet driver for Intel(R) 82567LF-2 download
2)intel chipset drivers goto the download link and select the latest INF Update Utility - Primarily for Intel® 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets download
3)smbus driver(seems to be needed only in 32bit while in 64bit intel inf utility does it all) from dell -- just run the downloaded exe so it will extract the files to a dell folder in c drive, dont install it as intel inf utility had already installed the latest drivers except the smbus driver. look in device manager for a smbus line and select update driver and slect the dell folder. download
4)dell bluetooth driver - download the attached file and run it , files will get extacted to c:/dell but will fail to install -- so install it manually as above by updating driver of bluetooth device from device manager download
5)select your monitor driver accordingly download
6)display driver - mine being ati radeon 4850 got it from amd site download
7)audio get it from realtek site download

for 64bit xp
1)ethernet driver for Intel(R) 82567LF-2 download
2)intel chipset drivers goto the download link and select the latest INF Update Utility - Primarily for Intel® 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets download
3)dell bluetooth driver - download the attached file and run it , files will get extacted to c:/dell but will fail to install -- so install it manually as above by updating driver of bluetooth device from device manager download
4)select your monitor driver accordingly download
5)display driver - mine being ati radeon 4850 got it from amd site download
6)audio get it from realtek site download

after installation easybcd can be used to reinstall vista/7 bootloader so you can boot to vista/7/xp as needed
